Ten years after the escalation of refugee flows to Europe, the exhibition “Say Goodbye Before You Leave” by Enri Canaj (Magnum Photos) inaugurates The Beehive — a former school in central Athens, revived by the Melissa Network as a new space of creativity, encounter, and participation. Through his lens, Canaj documents a decade of movement — from the ruins of Syria and the dust of the Sahara, to Lampedusa and the crossings of the Aegean Sea; from the makeshift shelters of Moria and Idomeni, to the fragile beginnings of settlement across Europe. His images stand as testimony not only to loss, but also to strength, resilience, and the enduring hope of those who continue to move forward.
