On July 10, 2025, Albania will host a special side event at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, as part of the General Assembly which will welcome over 600 delegates from around the world. WIPO, a United Nations agency, leads the development of a balanced and inclusive global intellectual property ecosystem that promotes innovation, creativity, and sustainability. With 193 member states, WIPO supports cultures and economies through the protection of creative and industrial rights. Albania’s event will feature a rich artistic program with traditional dances and music from different regions, along with a special presentation on geographical indications and traditional cultural expressions. It will be a unique opportunity to showcase the country’s cultural identity and heritage to the world.
