On Easter Tuesday, we were in Frascineto and Civita, deep in the heart of Calabria, with the Arbëresh community. During Festa e Valles, the village streets became a living stage — alive with color, song, and the rhythm of the past carried by young voices. Children and teens weren’t just onlookers — they were the heartbeat of it all. In traditional dress, singing in Arbëresh with joy and pride, they breathed new life into a tradition that doesn’t fade — it evolves, step by step, voice by voice.
